The Legacy Table was created to honor our moms or family members, traditions, recipes, wisdom, and memories that shaped our lives.
The Legacy Table™ is a heartfelt gathering where women come together to share meaningful recipes, honor loved ones, preserve memories, and celebrate the stories that shaped their lives.
For many, this may center around a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, or cherished family member.
Our goal is simple: To slow down. To gather. To remember. To connect. And to preserve the stories and family recipes that matter most.
How It Works
Step One
Step Two
Invite Your Guests
We recommend an intimate group of 4, 6, or 8 guests. The magic happens in smaller circles where everyone has time to share.
Step Three
Recipe Assignment
The host chooses how recipe assignments will work.
Assignment ideas
Examples: For a full dinner, the host may assign each guest a dish type, or guests may choose from a first-come, first-served sign-up list. Dish types may include appetizer, side dish, main dish, dessert, or beverage. The host may also choose a simpler theme, such as all appetizers or all desserts.
Step Four
Bring a Legacy Photo
Each guest brings a framed or printed photo of the person connected to the recipe they are sharing.
Step Five
Handwritten or Typed Recipe Cards
Each guest brings handwritten or typed 3x5 recipe cards for every attendee, because these shared recipes carry soul, nostalgia, history, and heart.
Step Six
Share the Story
Before dinner, each guest shares who they are honoring, why the recipe matters, and a favorite memory, lesson, or story.
